Nagpur: An unidentified elderly man, aged approximately 60 to 65 years, was found unconscious on a footpath in the Sakkardara area of Nagpur on Sunday afternoon.

The incident came to light around 3:30 pm near the Samosa Ground, close to the Paidan Gate in Motha Tajbagh locality. The man, described as having a dark complexion, long face, slim build, and standing around 5 feet 5 inches tall, was wearing a pink and white half T-shirt and white full pants.

Local police rushed him to the Government Medical Hospital for treatment. However, doctors declared him dead upon arrival.

The identity of the deceased remains unknown, and police have appealed to the public for help in identifying him.

Based on information provided by local resident Ghulam Mohammad Karim Sheikh alias Kadirbhai (56), Sakkardara Police have registered a case of accidental death. Further investigation is ongoing.
