Nagpur: Beltarodi Police Crack Housebreaking Case in Narendra Nagar; Accused Apprehended with Stolen Property

Nagpur: In a major breakthrough, the Beltarodi Police Station successfully solved a housebreaking case reported on December 5, 2024, at Narendra Nagar. The accused, identified as Mahendra alias Mangesh Chandrabhan Sahare (28), a resident under the jurisdiction of Gittikhadan Police Station, has been apprehended, and the stolen property recovered.


According to police, the complaint was lodged by Ashwin Sureshrao Kadu (23), a resident of 102 Balpande Layout, Narendra Nagar, who reported a theft from his residence that occurred between 9:00 am and 12:30 pm on December 5. Based on his report, an offence was registered under Section 305(a) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) against an unidentified person.


Acting on confidential inputs and CCTV footage from the crime scene, the Detection Branch (DB) team successfully identified and traced the accused. He was subsequently apprehended, and stolen items were seized during the operation.


The operation was conducted under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone 4 Rashmita Rao, and Assistant Commissioner of Police, Ajni Division, Narendra Hiware.


The team involved in cracking the case included PI, Mukund Kawade, Beltarodi Police Station, API Kandure and Police Constables Suhas Shingne, Surendra Bopche, Vivek Shripad, Pramod Bhivgade, and Yogesh.


The recovered property has been taken into evidence, and further investigation is ongoing to ascertain the accused’s involvement in other crimes.
