House Burgled in Yashodharanagar While Family Was Away in Ujjain; Jewellery Worth ₹4.33 Lakh Stolen

Nagpur: A major housebreaking incident has been reported in Yashodharanagar where thieves targeted a locked house and escaped with valuables worth ₹4,33,000, including gold-silver ornaments and cash.


Between 11:30 PM on February 19, 2026, and 11:40 AM on February 22, 2026, complainant Rohit Vinod Naidu (38), residing at Plot No. 30, behind Siddharth High School, Kanji House Chowk, Yashodharanagar, had locked his house and travelled with his family to Ujjain for pilgrimage.


Taking advantage of the unattended home, unidentified burglars:

  • Broke the main door lock and latch
  • Entered the bedrooms
  • Stole ₹28,000 cash
  • Stole jewellery worth ₹4,05,000,
  • totalling ₹4,33,000


Following the complaint, Yashodharanagar Police registered a case under Section 305(A), 331(3), 331(4) of the BNS.


Police are searching for the accused, and further investigation is underway.
