Nagpur: A British Airways Boeing 787 operating on the London (Heathrow)–Hyderabad route was forced to make an emergency landing at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport, Nagpur, early Tuesday morning due to bad weather and low visibility in Hyderabad.


The flight, carrying 169 passengers, landed safely at 5:30 AM on February 24, 2026. Airport authorities confirmed that all passengers and crew were safe and no injuries were reported.

After landing, routine safety checks revealed a technical malfunction, prompting authorities to ground the aircraft in Nagpur. British Airways engineers and airport technical teams are currently inspecting the aircraft to determine the extent of repairs needed.
