Nagpur: A woman, believed to be around 60 years of age, who was found unconscious at Mankapur Square on the evening of July 28, has died during treatment.

Mankapur Police found the unidentified woman in an unconscious state around 5:40 PM and shifted her to Ward No. 39 of Mayo Hospital for treatment. Despite medical efforts, she was declared dead by doctors at 4:25 AM on July 29, 2025.

As of now, the identity of the deceased remains unknown. Mankapur Police have registered a case of accidental death based on the hospital’s report. Sub-Inspector Pokharkar is leading the investigation.

Authorities have appealed to citizens to contact Mankapur Police Station if they have any information about the deceased or her family.
