Nagpur: Wadi Police have arrested a 39-year-old man who had been externed from Nagpur city and district limits, after finding him roaming in a prohibited area in violation of official orders.

The arrest was made around 1:25 am on August 9, 2025, when a police patrol team was on a combing operation in the Mandpe Layout, Eighth Mile area. Acting on specific information, officers detained a suspect matching the given description. He was identified as Milind Vishwanath Khillare, resident of Plot No. 22, Mandpe Layout, Eighth Mile, Nagpur.

Police records revealed that the accused had been externed for two years from November 12, 2024, under orders of the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone 1. He was allegedly present in the area without permission and suspected of planning a crime.

A case under Section 142 of the Maharashtra Police Act has been registered against him. Further investigation is ongoing.
