Nagpur: Under the initiative of Nagpur City Police Commissioner and the guidance of Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone 4) Rashmita Rao and Assistant Commissioner of Police (Ajni Division) Narendra Hivare, Beltarodi Police Station organised a special Raksha Bandhan programme on August 8, 2025.

The event, held at 12 noon, saw girl students from Royal Gondwana Public School tying rakhis to police personnel, symbolising the bond of protection and respect. The celebration aimed to strengthen trust, mutual respect, and emotional connection between the police and the community, particularly among members of the Women’s Vigilance Committee, school students, and residents of old-age homes.

The programme reinforced the message of unity and harmony, deepening the bond between citizens and law enforcement. Police officers, personnel, and women constables from Beltarodi Police Station ensured smooth and heartfelt organisation of the event.
