Nagpur: A major fire erupted at Prathamesh Garments in Lalganj on Thursday, May 8, causing extensive damage to property and goods. Fire and emergency services rushed to the spot and managed to bring the blaze under control after a strenuous effort.

The incident occurred during the early hours of the day, sending panic across the area as thick smoke and flames engulfed the garment shop. Fire tenders reached the scene promptly and launched firefighting operations to prevent the flames from spreading to nearby establishments.

Though no casualties were reported, goods and materials worth several lakhs of rupees were destroyed in the fire. The exact cause of the blaze is yet to be determined, and officials have initiated an investigation to identify the source.
