Sitabuldi Fort to Open for Public on November 10 in Nagpur

Nagpur: In a special initiative, the Army will open the historic Sitabuldi Fort for public viewing on Sunday, November 10, 2024. Visitors will have access to the fort from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., offering a rare opportunity to explore one of Nagpur’s most significant landmarks.
Entry will be permitted through the Army Recruiting Office gate, located opposite the Railway Station. To gain access, visitors are required to present valid identity proof at the entrance.
Sitabuldi Fort, a symbol of regional heritage and military history, draws large crowds on the occasions it is accessible to the public. The fort holds a special place in the history of Nagpur, being the site of the Battle of Sitabuldi in 1817.
