Nagpur: Youth Caught Brandishing Knife on Road, Nabbed by Nandanvan Police

Nagpur: In a late-night patrolling drive, the Nandanvan Police arrested a man for carrying a dangerous weapon in public and creating a ruckus near Neelam Pan Palace on the road leading to Kumbhar Toli here, on Wednesday.
The accused, Sagar Sunil Surjuse (26), a resident of Kapasi Chowk, Lakadganj, was found brandishing a knife in a threatening manner.
Police confiscated a sharp iron knife valued at ₹350. Upon investigation, he was found in violation of the Arms Act and the Bombay Police Act. A case was registered at Pachpaoli Police Station under Sections 4/25 of BNS and 135 of Maharashtra Police Act, following a complaint by PI Pravin Raut Pawar.
The accused has been taken into custody and further investigation is underway.
