Nagpur: Old Kamptee Police Arrest History-Sheeter from Bhandara Wanted in Multiple Cases

Nagpur: Acting on a routine patrol, officers from Old Kamptee Police Station apprehended a suspicious man hiding in the dark near the Agricultural Produce Market Committee (APMC) premises on the evening of July 22. Upon questioning, he initially gave evasive answers but later identified himself as Lakhan Ishwar Dayal Bore (45), a resident of Lobhi village in Bhandara district.


Preliminary investigation revealed that Bore was allegedly planning a criminal act and attempting to conceal his identity. A case was registered under Section 122 of the Maharashtra Police Act at Old Kamptee Police Station. Using the Court Checker App, police discovered that the accused has a history of serious offenses, including theft, burglary, and molestation registered at various police stations in Bhandara, Tumsar, Warthi, and Gobarwahi.


He was found to be a wanted accused in molestation and theft cases at Warthi and Gobarwahi police stations respectively. Following confirmation, a team from Warthi Police Station arrived and took custody of the accused.


This action was carried out under the guidance of DCP Niketan Kadam (Zone 5), ACP Vishal Kshirsagar (Kamptee Division), and supervision of PI Prashant Jumde, PSI Sagar Bhandari, and team members Ganesh Porate, Srikant, Ramesh Banjara, Vivek Dorsetwar, and Shariq Khan.
