Nagpur: A 94-year-old woman, who had been missing for the past 14 days, was successfully traced by the Beltarodi Police Station’s Missing Persons Squad on May 13, Tuesday, near the Nagpur Railway Station.
The elderly woman, identified as Prabhavati Gangadhar Hake, had gone missing two weeks ago. Since then, the Beltarodi police had been actively searching for her across different districts and locations.
The breakthrough came after the team received a call on the number published on missing person posters, which had been circulated by the squad in key areas including the railway station vicinity. Upon verification, the woman was identified and safely rescued.
Following the successful location of the nonagenarian, the Beltarodi police led by Police Inspector Mukund Kawade reunited her with her family, bringing relief to her loved ones and appreciation from the community.
