Nagpur: House Burglary in Mankapur as Family Visits Nanded; ₹6.97 Lakh Valuables Stolen

Nagpur: A house in Mata Nagar, Zingabai Takli, under Mankapur police limits, was burgled while the owner was away. The thieves broke the locks and decamped with ₹6.97 lakh worth of valuables, including cash, a hard disk, and gold and silver jewelry.
The incident occurred between March 8, 12:30 PM, and March 11, 6:00 AM when the homeowner, Jaideep Ramabhau Khapekar (32), was out of town in Nanded with his family. Upon returning, he discovered that the main door’s lock was broken and valuables were missing.
Based on the victim’s complaint, Mankapur police have registered a case under Sections 305(a), 331(3), and 331(4) of the BNS. The case is being investigated by PSI Madavi, and efforts are on to track down the unidentified burglars.
