Nagpur: With the examination season underway, Nagpur City Commissioner of Police Dr. Ravinder Kumar Singal, IPS, has issued a strong and reassuring message to students, parents, and educational institutions, urging all stakeholders to maintain a calm, disciplined, and fair atmosphere during exams.

In his message titled “Let Exams Be Exams”, Dr. Singal emphasized that examinations are an important phase of academic life but should not become a source of unnecessary stress, pressure, or misconduct. He appealed to students to focus on honest preparation, self-confidence, and mental well-being, rather than resorting to unfair means or succumbing to external pressure.

The Police Commissioner also cautioned against activities that could disturb the examination process, including rumors, misinformation on social media, impersonation, cheating rackets, or any attempt to create fear or disturbance near examination centres. He warned that strict legal action would be taken against individuals or groups found indulging in such activities.

Addressing parents and guardians, Dr. Singal urged them to support students emotionally and avoid imposing unrealistic expectations. He stressed that examinations are only one part of a student’s journey and should not be linked to extreme outcomes or anxiety.
