26-Year-Old Biker Killed in Collision with Speeding Goods Carrier in Kotwali, Nagpur

Nagpur: A 26-year-old motorcyclist lost his life in a tragic road accident after being hit by a speeding goods carrier on Ayachit Mandir Road, falling under the jurisdiction of Kotwali police station, on Saturday, May 10 afternoon.


The deceased has been identified as Anuj Arunrao Kamdi, a resident of Saibaba Nagar, Khapri. The incident occurred around 12.30 pm when Anuj was traveling from Badkas Square to Lakdapul on his motorcycle (MH/49/CM/8630).


As Anuj approached the Hariram Agarbatti store on Ayachit Mandir Road, a goods carrier (MH/31/CQ/0881) allegedly driven at high speed by Sudhakar Peshne (59), a resident of Sheshnagar, rammed into his vehicle. The impact left Anuj critically injured.


He was immediately rushed to Mayo Hospital, where doctors declared him dead upon arrival.


Following a complaint filed by the victim’s relative Abhijeet Kamdi, Kotwali police registered a case against the accused driver under Section 281, 106(1) of the BNS and Sub-section 184 of the Motor Vehicles Act. Further investigation is underway.
