Nagpur : A 20-year-old youth died after falling from the second floor of an under-construction building at Mahalaxmi Society, Manish Nagar, on Friday afternoon.

The deceased, identified as Rahul Bihari Sharanagat, was working as a plumber along with his cousin Ravi Sharanagat (22) at the site when the accident occurred around 1:30 pm on September 5.

Police said Rahul slipped while working and fell from the second floor, sustaining critical injuries. He was rushed to Taiwade Hospital, Shatabdi Nagar Square, where doctors declared him dead during treatment.

Beltarodi Police registered a case of accidental death and are probing the matter further.
