MIDC Police Solve Three Cases in 24 Hours, Recover Property Worth ₹1.38 Lakh in Nagpur

Nagpur: The MIDC Police Station investigation team has achieved major success by solving three separate cases within 24 hours and recovering stolen property worth ₹1,38,440 from the accused.


According to police, a theft case registered on September 5 (Crime No. 932/2025) led investigators to Romanch Ravindra Rangari (20), resident of Senapati Nagar, Dighori. Acting on technical inputs and secret information, the police recovered a stolen Oscar LED TV worth ₹15,000 and a Hero Honda CD 100 Deluxe motorcycle (MH 31 AY 5692) valued at ₹30,000, totaling ₹45,000.


In another operation, conducted during patrol duty on account of Anant Chaturdashi dry day, the team apprehended Amol Motiram Ingole (32), resident of Bhim Nagar, near Buddha Vihar, MIDC, Nagpur. From his possession, police seized 597 sealed bottles of Indian-made foreign liquor (IMFL and country liquor) along with a Honda Activa (MH 40 BU 1597), all valued at ₹93,440.


Meanwhile, in a separate case registered under Crime No. 929/2025, the police detained three habitual offenders, including Nilesh alias Clomex Bhimrao Mandaskar (29), resident of Vaishali Nagar, Hingna Road, Nagpur, who had been previously externed from the city limits. The accused were linked to multiple criminal activities, and their arrest has helped crack the case.


In total, the MIDC Police team apprehended five accused across three different cases, seizing property worth ₹1,38,440.


The successful operations were carried out under the guidance of DCP Zone-1 S Rishikesh Reddy and ACP (MIDC Division) Satish Gurav. The investigation team was led by Senior PI Gokul Mahajan, with support from API Sanjay Bansod, PSI Omprakash Bharatiya, PSI Dharmendra Yadav, constables Ashish Paunikar, Vikant Deshmukh, and Vashisth Ingle.
