Nagpur: A devastating accident on Tuesday morning, November 26, claimed the life of a 25-year-old man and injured two others when a Kia car they were traveling in crashed into roadside railings near Garud Chowk on the Nagpur-Kamptee road.

The deceased has been identified as Roshan Naik, a resident of Ramgarh, Kamptee.

According to police sources, Roshan and two colleagues were on their way to Nagpur Airport for duty when the incident occurred. In their rush to reach the destination, the car went out of control and collided with the divider near Garud Chowk. The impact was so severe that the railings pierced through the car, leading to Roshan’s death on the spot.

The two other passengers sustained serious injuries and were rushed to hospitals in Kamptee for treatment. One is being treated at Asha Hospital, while the other is admitted to Lifeline Hospital.

Kamptee Police have registered a case and are investigating the circumstances leading to the mishap. Further updates are awaited.
