Nagpur: An unidentified man was found lying unconscious in front of Chaustik Food Café in Omkar Nagar early Wednesday morning, leading to an accidental death case being registered by the Ajni Police.

According to officials, the incident occurred around 7:00 am on February 4, when police spotted a man aged approximately 55 to 60 years, of slim build, about 5 feet 5 inches tall, and dressed in a red shirt and black trousers, lying unconscious on the roadside.

He was immediately shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, where doctors examined him and declared him dead on arrival. The deceased’s identity has not yet been established.

Following a report submitted by Police Naik Bhaskar Raut, PSO Rajesh Bonde registered an Accidental Death (ADR) entry at Ajni Police Station. The police have begun efforts to trace the man’s identity and determine the cause of death.

Further investigation is ongoing.
