The ongoing delays are dampening the festive spirit of travelers, and it seems the railways are indifferent to the inconvenience caused.

Various reasons have been cited for these disruptions, including development work, heavy rains, and occasional accidents, all of which have disrupted the schedules of several trains. Passengers, who had secured confirmed tickets well in advance to avoid the last-minute rush, now find themselves stuck in long delays.
