Nagpur: In a major step toward improving urban mobility, the Nagpur Municipal Corporation’s Aapli Bus service has deployed six additional buses on Route No. 87, creating the first-ever direct public transport link between Waddhamna (Amravati Road) and Wanadongri (Hingna Road). The expanded service became operational on 2 February 2026, with the first bus starting at 7:00 AM from Morbhavan Aapli Bus Terminal and operating at 30-minute intervals until 7:30 PM.

First Direct Connectivity Between Two Major Corridors

This upgrade bridges a long-standing gap for daily commuters, offering seamless travel between:

• Amravati Road (Waddhamna region)
• Hingna Road (Wanadongri region)

For the first time, residents, students, and working professionals in these areas can rely on a direct, efficient, and affordable public transit option without needing multiple transfers.

Improved Frequency for Hassle-Free Commuting

The buses on Route 87 will now operate:

• From 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM
• With a 30-minute frequency throughout the day

This consistent schedule ensures smoother travel patterns, reduced waiting time, and enhanced accessibility for suburban and city commuters.
