Nagpur: A religious gathering at Vidarbha Sahitya Sangh’s hall in Sitabuldi descended into chaos on Friday, January 31 afternoon after a man was caught secretly recording in the ladies’ washroom.

The accused, Mangesh Khapare, a teacher from a school in Dhighori area, had placed his cell phone on recording mode in the washroom. Upon discovery, he was roughed up by the attendees before being handed over to the Sitabuldi Police.

Police officials confirmed the incident and stated an FIR has been registered in this connection. Sources revealed that nearly 20 deleted videos were retrieved from the accused’s phone, along with some recordings from the day of the incident.

The accused had previously arrested in similar incidents. .
