Nagpur: In a major crackdown on illegal activities, the Social Security Branch of the Crime Branch conducted a raid under the Prevention of Immoral Traffic Act (PITA) at a unisex spa operating in the Sitabuldi Police Station jurisdiction, rescuing four women and arresting one woman accused of facilitating a prostitution racket.

The operation was carried out on July 14, 2025, between 4:21 PM and 8:47 PM, at Metro Spa Health and Wellness Center for Unisex, located on the second floor of Shop No. 4/5 in the Tourist Plaza Building. Acting on a tip-off that a sex racket was being run under the guise of spa services, the Crime Branch laid a trap and raided the premises.

During the raid, police arrested Aarti Akshay Marskolhe (30), a resident of Gopal Nagar, Nagpur, on charges of running the illegal operation. A case has been registered against her under Section 143(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and Sections 3, 4, 5, and 7 of the PITA Act.

Police also seized items worth ₹37,730 during the raid. The rescued women were sent for medical examination, and all involved parties—including the accused, the victims, and the seized items—were handed over to the Sitabuldi Police Station for further investigation.

Authorities have confirmed that further inquiries are underway, and more arrests may follow as part of the extended investigation into the alleged sex trafficking operation under the disguise of a spa and wellness center.
