Nagpur: A 14-year-old girl was reportedly molested by a criminal-minded man in the Yashodhara Nagar area of Nagpur. The accused also threatened to kill the victim’s mother when confronted.

The accused, identified as Amarnath alias Bunty Kapildev Gupta (35), a resident of Pili Nadi, Pahune Layout, had been harassing the minor for over a month and a half, making lewd gestures and pressuring her to meet. After the girl informed her mother, she confronted the accused. In response, Bunty issued a death threat to the woman.

Yashodhara Nagar Police have registered a case under POCSO Act, molestation, and criminal intimidation, and arrested the accused.
