Nagpur: Police Sub-Inspector Shobha Premsingh Rathore, currently posted at the Nagpur Police Control Room, brought laurels to the city by delivering an impressive performance at the Maharashtra State Masters Athletics Championship held at Washim from December 26 to 28.
PSI Rathore clinched the gold medal in the triple jump event, showcasing exceptional athletic skill and determination. She also secured two bronze medals, one each in the discus throw and hammer throw, marking a remarkable achievement at the state-level championship.
Senior police officials praised her performance, stating that her success reflects the discipline, fitness and dedication of Nagpur Police personnel beyond their official duties. The Commissioner of Police also congratulated PSI Rathore for her outstanding achievement and said her success would inspire other police personnel to actively participate in sports and fitness activities.
