Nagpur: In a shocking case of domestic violence, a 25-year-old man was apprehended for allegedly stabbing his mother to death in Saoner, located in Nagpur district. The incident occurred on Friday night and has left the local community in disbelief.

The accused, identified as Mukesh Maraskolhe, was arrested within four hours of the brutal murder of his 49-year-old mother, Pramila Maraskolhe, police confirmed on Saturday, June 7. Preliminary investigations suggest that the attack took place during a heated domestic dispute.

Following the crime, local police launched a swift operation and succeeded in nabbing the suspect shortly after the incident. The crime scene — the family’s residence — now stands sealed as police continue their probe.

Mukesh has been remanded to police custody till June 9 as officials work to determine the exact sequence of events and the motive behind the tragic incident.
