Nagpur: A man who went to purchase sweets and bread at the Haldiram’s outlet in Friends Colony had a bitter experience when he discovered a fly inside the glass container used to store the sweets.

Speaking to Nagpur News, the customer shared his ordeal.

“I live in Friends Colony, and I often buy bread and sweets from the nearby Haldiram’s. On Monday morning, October 21, I went there to buy bread and sweets. While I was browsing, I noticed a fly inside the glass container that held the sweets. When I pointed this out, the staff assured me that they would remove the foreign element,” he said.

“Since the experience of buying sweets was ruined, I ended up purchasing just the bread. Haldiram’s should maintain strict quality inspection, especially during the festive season when citizens frequently buy sweets. Any laxity on Haldiram’s part could have serious consequences for many,” he lamented.
