Nagpur: Thieves broke into an apartment in Laxmi Nagar’s Govind Apartment and decamped with cash and gold ornaments worth ₹3.68 lakh on Wednesday afternoon.

Complainant Arti Ramesh Kashyap (48) had locked her flat and gone to Revati Nagar for a relative’s funeral between 9 am and 2.30 pm. On returning, she found the main door lock broken and cash of ₹1 lakh along with 78 grams of gold jewellery missing.

Ajni Police have registered a case under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita against unidentified burglars.
