Nagpur: Noted social activist and reformist Manjeet Kaur Matani has strongly condemned Amit Baghel for allegedly making derogatory remarks against the Sindhi community and their deity. She demanded that Baghel issue a public apology to the Sindhi community for his offensive statements.
Matani said that no individual has the right to mock or insult any religion or its gods. “The Sindhi community has made immense contributions to the nation’s economy and continues to work selflessly for the country’s growth. Despite being called outsiders time and again, Sindhis have always upheld peace, harmony, and hard work,” she stated.
Calling for unity among Sindhis, Matani urged the community to collectively demand an apology. “People like Amit Baghel must be taught a lesson in humanity. Those who mock faith and spread hatred are responsible for dividing the nation instead of promoting unity,” she added.
Matani emphasized that such incidents hurt communal harmony and that mutual respect among communities is essential for the nation’s progress.
