Nagpur: A house in Bhandevadi’s Tulsi Nagar area under Wathoda Police Station limits was burgled over the weekend, with thieves escaping with valuables worth ₹3.78 lakh. The incident took place between 10:00 am on July 18 and 7:30 am on July 20 while the homeowners were away visiting relatives in Kuhi Mandal.
According to the complainant, Nikita Prakash Paunikar (27), the unknown miscreants broke open the main door lock of her residence at Plot No. 118, Tulsi Nagar, and looted ₹3,00,000 in cash and gold-silver ornaments from a steel cupboard in the bedroom.
Based on her complaint, a case has been registered against unidentified persons under Sections 305(a), 331(3), and 331(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Sub-Inspector Pawar is investigating the matter, and efforts are underway to identify and nab the culprits.
