Nagpur: A 65-year-old woman succumbed to injuries after falling off a motorcycle reportedly due to a damaged road stretch under Khaparkheda Police limits.

The incident took place on April 10, 2026, between 2:00 pm and 2:30 pm when Indubai Bhimrao Bonde (65), a resident of Khapa Patan in Kamptee taluka, was travelling with her grandson Himanshu Bonde (25) on a Passion motorcycle (MH 40 AL 1215) towards Patansawangi.

Near Tandulwani bridge, the motorcycle hit a road depression, causing it to bounce. As a result, Indubai, who was riding pillion, fell and sustained serious injuries. She was initially admitted to a local hospital and later shifted to Government Medical Hospital in Nagpur.

Despite medical efforts, doctors declared her dead on April 13, 2026, at 8:40 pm.

Following medical intimation, Khaparkheda Police registered a case of accidental death. Further investigation is underway.
