Nagpur: A 30-year-old cyclist died after being hit by an unidentified truck near Pardi Flyover under Kalamna police station limits in Nagpur.

Police identified the deceased as Lavnesh Gulabchand Janware (30), resident of Kalamna Market area.

According to preliminary information, the incident took place around 6:00 am on June 21 while Janware was travelling by bicycle for his cleaning work near Kalamna Market and Pardi Bridge.

Police said an unidentified truck allegedly collided with his bicycle, causing serious injuries.

He was shifted to Mayo Hospital, where doctors declared him dead during treatment.

Following medical intimation, Kalamna Police Station registered an accidental death report (ADR)and initiated further investigation into the incident.
