Burglary in Kapil Nagar: Valuables Worth ₹2.48 Lakh Stolen from Locked Home

Nagpur: A burglary case has been registered at Kapil Nagar Police Station after thieves broke into a locked house in Sannyal Nagar, Tekanaka, and decamped with gold and silver ornaments worth ₹2.48 lakh.
Complainant Ravichandra Ramkrishna Patil (57), a resident of Plot No. 21, Sannyal Nagar, had gone for a picnic with his family to a resort on Amravati Road between May 17, 6 pm, and May 18, 4:30 pm. During this period, unknown burglars broke the lock of the main door and looted valuables from the bedroom cupboard.
Based on Patil’s complaint, a case has been filed under Sections 305 and 331(4) of the BNS. Further investigation is underway.
