Nagpur: A 20-year-old electrician died after suffering severe head injuries following a fall at a warehouse in the Wadi Police Station area of Nagpur.

The deceased has been identified as Om Shankar Lande, a resident of Angulimal Nagar in Jaripatka.

According to police, the incident occurred around 4 pm on June 14 at a distribution warehouse operated by Polycab Company in Lava. Lande was reportedly carrying out electrical maintenance work while standing on an iron platform when he lost his balance and fell to the ground.

He sustained serious head injuries in the accident and was rushed to Mayo Hospital for treatment. However, doctors declared him dead upon examination.

Based on the medical intimation received from the hospital, Wadi Police have registered an accidental death case and initiated an inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Further investigation is underway.
