Nagpur: In a significant reshuffle within the Nagpur police department, 18 inspectors, including five Station House Officers (SHOs), have been transferred. The affected SHOs are from Sitabuldi, Kalamna, Ajni, Hingna, and Yashodhara Nagar police stations.
Key transfers include Nitinchandra Rajkumar, the Second PI from MIDC, who has been appointed as the SHO of Ajni Police Station. Atul Mohankar, previously PI Crime at Sitabuldi, will now head Kotwali Police Station.
Manisha Varpe, who was the SHO of Kotwali, has been moved to Sadar as the Second PI. Prashant Pandey from MIDC Traffic has been named the new SHO for MIDC. Ajni SHO Kiran Kumar Kabadi has been reassigned to the Control Room, while Vinod Godbole from Hingna and Gokul Mahajan from Kalamna have been transferred to the Economic Offenses Wing.
Further changes include Rupali Bawankar, the Second PI from Ambazari, who will now serve as PI Crime at Beltarodi. Ramesh Khune, the Second PI from Wadi, has been appointed as the SHO of Yashodhara Nagar Police Station. Suresh Mattami, the outgoing SHO of Yashodhara Nagar, will serve as the Second PI of Pardi.
Promotions were also announced: Rahul Gautam is the new Tehsil Second PI, Suhas Raut has been promoted to Crime PI at Yashodhara, Nagesh Kumar Chhatarpur takes on the role of PI Crime at Hudkeshwar, and Prashant Thaware becomes the SHO of Hingna.
Additionally, Chandrashekhar Chakate has been appointed as the SHO of Sitabuldi. Manohar Koreti, previously in Chandrapur, has been assigned to the Special Branch, while Manish Bansod from Amravati has been transferred to the Economic Branch.
