Nagpur: A youth was brutally murdered in broad daylight following a dispute between street vendors at Santra Market under the jurisdiction of the Tehsil police station on Wednesday, January 21, sending shockwaves through the busy commercial area.

According to preliminary information, the incident occurred after an argument escalated between handcart vendors operating in the market. During the altercation, the victim, a young man, was allegedly attacked and killed, causing panic among shopkeepers and shoppers present at the market at the time.

Police were alerted immediately after the incident and rushed to the spot. The Tehsil police station team cordoned off the area and began investigations. Senior officers also reached the scene to assess the situation and gather evidence.
