Nagpur: An unidentified 30-35-year-old man’s body was recovered from the Kanhan River under old bridge in New Kamptee area on Monday, February 24.

The body was pulled from the river and taken to the Sub-District Hospital, Kamptee, where doctors declared him dead at 4:15 pm. The deceased was wearing a black full-sleeved T-shirt, blue full pants, Macho-brand underwear, and black sandals.

A case of accidental death has been registered at New Kamptee Police Station. Authorities are working to identify the deceased.
