Nagpur: Jaripatka Police have registered a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and arrested two accused for allegedly sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl multiple times in Indora area between May and July this year.

The arrested accused has been identified as Saurabh Rajesh Jambhulkar (24), a resident of Nara Ghat and a juvenile delinquent. According to police sources, the accused reportedly showed explicit videos to minor before sexually exploiting her. 

When victim’s mother got to know about the incident she approached Jaripatka Police Station. Based on her complaint, Jaripatka Police registered a case under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), including Sections 64(F), 64(I)(M), 65(2), 376(1), 376(2), 376(A) and 376(B), along with Sections 4 and 6 of the POCSO Act.
