Nagpur: The City Traffic Police have extended the traffic diversion in the Ambazari area by one month due to delays in the construction of the bridge near Ambazari Lake. The project, managed by the Public Works Department, has yet to be completed, prompting the extension.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Traffic, Shashikant Satav, issued a notification on Sunday confirming that the traffic diversion for two-wheelers and ambulances from the Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT) campus will now remain in effect until September 30. The designated hours for vehicular movement are from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
As per the revised route, vehicles coming from Hingna will turn right at the Shree Gajanan Maharaj Mandir T-point and enter the VNIT campus near the Indian Oil Petrol Pump. After passing through the VNIT campus, two-wheelers will exit at Yashwant Nagar Square, near Ambazari Police Chowki (Gate No. 3 of VNIT).
