Nagpur: Kalamna Police in Nagpur City have arrested a teenager and detained two juveniles for their alleged involvement in a warehouse theft case, recovering stolen cash and property worth ₹5.54 lakh.

The main accused has been identified as Aditya Suresh Delikar (19), a resident of Fawara Chowk, Kumbhar Mohalla, Deputy Signal area in Kalamna. Two juveniles in conflict with law were also taken into custody in connection with the case.

According to police, the complainant owns a warehouse operating under the name Lakhotiya Sales Corporation, located near Deputy Signal Railway Crossing. On April 25, after completing business operations, the owner had kept ₹9.55 lakh cash collections of four days inside a locked drawer of a wooden table in the office cabin before locking the premises.

When he reopened the warehouse on April 27, the cash was found missing. During inspection, it was noticed that a tin sheet on the upper wall near the cabin had been removed, indicating that the accused had entered the warehouse through the roof and stolen the money.

Following the complaint, Kalamna Police registered a case and launched an investigation. Officers examined footage from 10 to 15 CCTV cameras in the surrounding area, which helped identify the suspects.

Police later apprehended the accused and recovered ₹5,04,960 in cash along with a Passion Plus motorcycle (MH-40-K-9990) used in the crime, valued at approximately ₹50,000. The total recovered property is worth ₹5.54 lakh.

The successful operation was carried out under the leadership of Senior Police Inspector Pravin Kale. The detection team included PSI Santoshkumar Ramlod, Head Constable Ravikumar Shahu, Head Constable Pradip Pawar, Constable Mangesh Lohi, Constable Santosh Pandey, Constable Anil Jadhav, and Constable Praful Gohokar.

Further investigation is underway.
