Nagpur : In a tragic road accident, Prof. Hareram Tripathi, Vice-Chancellor of Kavikulaguru Kalidas Sanskrit University, Ramtek, and his wife, Badami Tripathi, lost their lives in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday, August 23.

The fatal mishap took place in Kushinagar district, Mau, while the couple was travelling. As per preliminary information, their vehicle met with an accident, leading to their untimely demise.

Prof. Tripathi was a distinguished Sanskrit scholar and an eminent academician who had been serving as the Vice-Chancellor of the university. His scholarly work and leadership in the field of Sanskrit literature and higher education earned him wide respect in academic circles.

The sudden demise of Prof. Tripathi and his wife has left the academic fraternity, colleagues, and well-wishers deeply shocked and mourning the irreparable loss.
