Burglary at Narendra Nagar: Ornaments Worth ₹2.09 Lakh Stolen

Nagpur: A burglary was reported in Narendra Nagar under Ajni Police Station limits, where thieves decamped with gold and silver ornaments worth ₹2.09 lakh from a locked house between August 21 and 22.
According to police, the complainant Anuj Jagdishsingh Thakur (26), resident of Plot No. 48, Gaurav Colony, Narendra Nagar, had locked his house and gone with his mother to his aunt’s place at Golibar Chowk. When he returned, he found the main door lock broken and valuables missing.
The burglars stole 48.5 grams of gold ornaments and 50 grams of silver ornaments from the house.
On Thakur’s complaint, Ajni Police registered a case under Sections 305(A) and 331(4) of BNS against unidentified accused. Investigation is in progress.
