Nagpur: In the second such incident in Nagpur, an unidentified thief allegedly stole a JCB machine worth ₹18 lakh from the Beltarodi police station limits. The latest theft was reported on October 11, following an earlier incident in which a JCB machine was stolen from the jurisdiction of Yashodhara Nagar police station.
According to Beltarodi police, the complainant, Vaibhav Keshavrao Gormade, 45, a resident of Jagannath Nagar near Gorewada Road, had parked his JCB machine at a location in the area. The machine, manufactured by JCB India Limited and bearing registration number MH-31-GA-6732, was worth approximately ₹18 lakh.
An unidentified person allegedly stole the machine between the time it was parked and when the theft came to light. Following the complaint, Beltarodi police registered a case against an unidentified accused under the relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
