Nagpur: Mankapur police arrested two accused—Rajendra Vishwakarma (22) and Sonu alias Raj Vishwakarma (23)—for allegedly molesting a 12-year-old girl. The incident took place on June 5 when the minor was heading to a grocery store with her grandmother.

The accused reportedly made obscene gestures and harassed the girl, forcing her to take shelter inside a shop. They also created a disturbance and abused the shopkeeper. Local residents intervened and alerted the police.

A case has been registered under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and POCSO Act. Both accused are in custody.
