Nagpur: A 35-year-old man has been arrested by New Kamptee Police for allegedly molesting a 31-year-old woman by making obscene gestures near her home early Tuesday, May 13, morning.

The accused, identified as Sumesh alias Shaktiman Suraj Raut, a resident of New Kamptee, reportedly approached the woman’s house from the back around 7:00 AM and gestured inappropriately with sexual intent, causing her distress and outrage.

Following the woman’s complaint, a case was filed under BNS Sections 75(1) and 79 of the BNS. The accused has been taken into custody, and further inquiries are ongoing.
