Crime Branch Busts Sex Racket Operating from Delight Spa in Nagpur; Five Women Rescued

Nagpur: Acting on a tip-off, Unit 1 of the Crime Branch on Tuesday, May 13, raided Delight Spa, located near Indian Bank on South Ambazari Road in Shraddhanandpeth, under Bajaj Nagar Police Station jurisdiction, and uncovered a sex racket being run under the guise of spa services.


The raid, conducted around 4:15 PM, led to the apprehension of Rizul Ali Ismail Ali (26), a resident of Soyagaon, Assam. His accomplice, Rahanuddin Sahabuddin (26), also from Assam, is currently absconding. The duo was allegedly operating the flesh trade by offering premises for prostitution and coercing women and girls into sex work for monetary gain.


Five victims were rescued during the operation. Police also seized two mobile phones, Rs 31,700 in cash, and other incriminating materials, totaling around Rs 72,760 in value. A case has been registered under Sections 3, 4, 5, and 7 of the Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act (PITA) at Bajaj Nagar Police Station.


The raid was executed under the guidance of Commissioner of Police Ravinder Kumar Singal, along with Joint CP Nisar Tamboli, Addl CP (Crime) Sanjay Patil, DCP (Detection) Rahul Makanikar, and ACP (Crime Branch) Abhijit Patil. The operation was led by PI Amol Deshmukh and PSI Sachin Bhonde, along with their team.
