Nagpur: The Anti-Narcotics Squad of the Crime Branch arrested four persons in possession of MD (Mephedrone) drugs during a raid in the Kapilnagar area on Saturday. Items worth ₹4.67 lakh were seized during the operation.

The arrested accused have been identified as:

• Happy alias Shrijan Brijesh Pande (22)

• Sanskar Laxman Yadav (25), both from Mhasala

• Raunak Sanskar Chaudhary (19), resident of Samtanagar, Jaripatka

• Pritam (21), resident of Yadavnagar

Police had received a tip-off regarding the sale of synthetic drugs under Kapilnagar police jurisdiction. Acting swiftly, the squad conducted a raid and apprehended the accused along with the contraband.

A case has been registered and further investigation is in progress.
