Nagpur: Tension erupted in Ajni after a close aide of Congress leader Girish Pandav was brutally attacked outside his home.

The injured Congress worker has been identified as Suhas Nanwatkar (38). 

Cops have arrested the accused, Lokesh Suresh Gayal (24), and Kartik Suraj Balguher (23), both resident of same locality. 

According to police sources, their altercation reportedly stemmed from an old dispute, with Nanwatkar having confronted the accused on several occasions in the past. Owing to which they attacked him on Tuesday, October 15 night.
