Cleaner Dies in Tragic Accident at Lupin’s Nagpur Facility

Nagpur: A 26-year-old cleaner working at Lupin Limited’s facility in SEZ MIHAN died in a freak accident in the early hours of Wednesday, February 19 after being crushed by a sensor-operated door.
The deceased has been identified as Krishna Abinam Bedre (26), a resident of Sarandi village in Lakhandur, Bhandara district.
According to police sources, Krishna was engaged in cleaning work when his head accidentally got trapped in a sensor-operated door. The door closed on impact, severely injuring his head, which also reportedly dislodged the sensor mechanism.
He was rushed to AIIMS Nagpur, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
A case of accidental death has been registered at Sonegaon Police Station, and further investigations are underway.
