Burglary Reported at Locked House in Kalamna; Valuables Worth ₹2.15 Lakh Stolen

Nagpur: Unidentified thieves targeted a locked house in Gulmohar Nagar under Kalamna Police Station limits and decamped with cash and gold ornaments worth ₹2.15 lakh.
The incident took place between August 2 and August 5, when the complainant, Sushil Chhaganlal Harode (45), had gone to Pune with his family for his daughter’s admission. The accused broke open the main door lock of Harode’s residence at Plot No. 303, Jai Ganga Maa Society, Bharatwada Road, and stole ₹2 lakh in cash and gold jewellery worth ₹15,000 from a wooden cupboard in the bedroom.
Based on Harode’s complaint, cops registered an offence under Sections 305(A), 331(3), and 331(4) of the BNS at Kalamna Police Station. Further investigation is underway to trace the culprits.
